A momentus thing has happened.
The wife and I are preparing dinner and I notice a muskrat out in the river in back of our house. It is hanging out on the bank and looks to be eating and I point it out to the wife. The kids overhear and of course want to be boosted up so they can see out the window. While we are doing this another muskrat comes swimming down the river
Me: "Hey! Here comes another one. Maybe we'll see some muskrat love!"
Wife: "Either that, or they are going to fight." (they are kind of territorial)
Kids: Where? I don't see! I don't see! (it's kind of far away)
Me: That ain't fightin' their doing. (puts kid down, wife does same)
Us: 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Yes. I witnessed actual muskrat love or maybe muskrat lust I'm not sure, it was kind of far away. It was quick though and mr. muskrat did not stick around and spoon or snuggle but swam away rather quickly.
Anywho...thought it was kind of funny, so I shared. 😛
