    Bullshit! You can put a bag of nails in th passenger seat and you can do it all round trip in under 2 minutes with this car.... 😛

    Yea, I didn't know they made a production car that fast. The last time I paid any attention, they were just over 200MPH.

    That it does.. that it does...

    All I can think of is can it make it from one gas station to the next under power or would I have to coast at 120mph to the next gas station on I10 to El Paso..

    Didn't he say that straight stretch of road was 5.5 miles long? Lets just say 6.
    I do remember him going around a track at first then off the exit to the straight.

    Still... If you go 60MPH that is one mile per min. If he was doing say 4 times that that means he was going one mile each 15 seconds. So if the road was 6 miles long he should have been through it in 1 min 30 seconds at the peak. Even given the fact that he was not going that fast the entire time he was doing at LEAST 120 the entire time. So that is one mile each 30 seconds or 2 miles each min. So at the low speed end in 3 min he should have been through that.

    Okay I re-watched it and it took him 2 min to hit the straight away to the end. Still VERY close though, he must have just ran out of track 😉

    Creative editing.

    Reused shots, retakes. . .that sort of thing. Probably not all the shots were of him actually hitting 250, but from some other point in the driving. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the time he was talking was NOT when we was breaking 250, but exposition done after the fact. Those few shots you saw of him saying nothing and concentrating on the driving, THAT was probably when he hit 250. If _I_ was driving near 250, the only thing I'd be saying is ohshitohshitohshit. . .I concentrate pretty hard when I'm near 100mph. 🙂

    The fastest I've ever drove was 160 mph. I don't see ever going that fast again, let alone that crazy speed.

    Its amazing how the miles rip off at those speeds tho 🙂

    Okay I will ask.. HOW??? 160 is FAST! That is impressive, was it on a race track? Most ordinary stock cars won't even come close to that.

    I think I hit 120 once. I pegged it so am unsure how fast I was really going. That was stupid.
    I think 80 is about the fastest I ever need to go again.

    The fastest I've driven is 120. The fastest I've been is 140 as a passenger and I did not like it at all.

    I know Racer's driven at least 160 on his crotch rocket.....

    I've been a passenger in a pickup doing 120+ on country backroads. I didn't care for that at all. Damn showoff coulda killed us. Same guy blew out his engine on the highway coming back from a college open house. Served him right. Ever hear the phrase, "Passed us like we were standing still?" Well, when you're doing 65 and someone does that, you KNOW they're moving.

    The car was was a Dodge Barracuda with a hemi and 3 duces owned by my best friend. There is a 4 mile straight stretch where I grew up. I hit 160 one way, and Pete hit 165 'ish back up. There were also 4 people in the car, so imagine how the black guy looked 🙂

    Fastest I've ever taken a motorcycle was 120. I was afraid I was going to lose my girlfriend off the back, but she kept saying 'faster, faster!', lol.

    We used to race cars and motorcycles in Ohio on weekends, so I had alot of exposure at that time.
