News shows are talking about this being the earliest snowfall in Texas history today.
I always love the news agencies in Dallas about how they made such a HUGE deal over 1/4" - but then again there was typically 3,000 car accidents an hour with any snow down there.

And the warnings to leave your faucets (inside and out) dripping throughout the day to keep your pipes from bursting......
Just try to find plumbing heat tape during a 30 deg day in Dallas is like trying to find plywood in Miami on a hurricane incursion.

Yeah, it was 70 degrees here yesterday and is in the 50's so far today 😀. It was colder in October than it is now. Of course in January Atomm will be laughing as we freeze our asses off...

Wow.... That really shocks me. You guys get 70's and we get 30's.... Brrrr..... I'm going to freeze this winter....

Yeah its great, I go up to Chicago for family and a chance at snow.. I mean when is Chicago not under snow this time of year. So that doesn't work out, head out to Vegas for work and decide to carry on, then I hear its snowing in Texas, hell it delayed my flight from leaving Vegas.. just long enough that when I get back to town there is no snow, just an inch of ice on the hood of my truck.

Bastard snow is hiding from me.
