OK State in trouble?

    Hey any of you Okies heard this one yet??

    it seems someone donated 165 million in a hedge fund, the university started to use the money but didn't take it out of the hedgefund. Then on the recent stock market all of that money has dissappeared but the 200Mil they have spent hasn't.

    This is scary, why would they do this?? I mean this is person economics 101, don't spend money that isn't in your checking account. Don't spend a paycheck you haven't cashed.

    Holy Crap!

    T. Boone Pickens was a billionaire. He donated the money, then dictated the terms for his own self interest. He should have to cover the amount.

    Maybe Garth Brooks will step in and save them.


    OT: When I met my wife, she was a Freshman at Oklahoma State. The bar we met in was were Garth Brooks worked as a bouncer and later singer while attending Oklahoma State.

    Back when I was a delivery driver, I started out on the Norman Oklahoma Route where OU is located. A few years later, I started driving the Stillwater Oklahoma Route where Oklahoma State is located.

    I can tell you without a doubt that their are far more hotties at Oklahoma State than Oklahoma. Everywhere you looked at OSU, you'd see a hottie. At OU, you might see one if you were lucky. I don't know what it is about an Aggro school, but them farm raised girls are well grown.

    It's weird, but it seems that women that conform well to the Western ideal may be grouped by geographical location. Pittsburgh, for example, has plenty of good-looking women. I didn't notice this until I moved to Tennessee, where a large proportion of the ladies are very noticeably overweight and have turned-up 'pigs-noses'. I always joke that the local Hooters has to import their waitresses.

    I figure it might have to do with certain groups of ppl settling in areas back when traveling was not as easy. Over time their descendants develop some similar characteristics. Some of these characteristics were adopted, as a society, to reflect the ideal, while others were not. Lifestyle and traditional diets probably contribute to differences in average weight.
