Friend sent me the link.. and I loved Lego's as a kid.. that sorta set would have to take days to complete..

I have 4 of the space lego sets. The big ones from around 1980-82. I looked them up on Ebay and if I can find the directions and very all the pieces, they would bring big bucks. As it is, I may dump them for a 100 or 200 and not mess with it.

I have a crapload of legos that I bought 7-8 years ago (when I still had a disposable portion to my income). I still pick up sets every now and then and enjoy putting them together. I have started to let my kids and my nephews and neices play with them so I don't plan on keeping them as collectables

Lego's Rock! I've always wanted a mindstorm robot to terrorize the dogs with. :-)

Ooo and don't get me started about Legos Inc., the rat bastards. Money grubbing jerks. They are always coming out with expansion packs that I have to pay for. I am not buying another lego expansion pack until the little legos dudes don't have holes in their butts!! Fix the holes!!! And don't even get me started about their inferior brother Duplos!!!

Expansion Packs?

I think their best sets were those in the late 80's.. especially the city.. castle & space series then I liked how their castle series involved sections of walls that would connect to other castle sets out there or the large castles themselves..

You guys need to see the new Wired magazine.
Legos are front page.

Cool! I just got a subscription to Wired, but since I have not received my first issue yet, I'll swing by the newstand and pick it up.
