I'm not a big hockey fan. I've been to a few games, but can't remember when I last saw one - I think Clinton was president - but I know there are a couple folks here who follow it. Thought you guys might like a local article about the Pens.

And I am actually a Pens fan.

Cheap seats are $60 and Nose Bleed are $40. Nose Bleed appears to be the top few rows and Cheap seats are the few rows just below them. It's crazy.....

That has been a problem for me here too. I fell into some great seats for the B's a handful of years back, that was fun.

I did remember that. You've got a good team to follow - there were some bad years recently, but when the result is drafting Crosby, and signing Malkin, you can at least know something good came of the losing. They sure payed a high price for Hossa and Dupuis, though. I hope they can sign Hossa after the season's done, as that's a hell of a price to pay for a just a few months of service.

I used to be a huge Penguins fan growing up, but then the team went bankrupt and I went to college and discovered booze. I've since gotten back into hockey but due to an exGF who had season tickets to the Flyers, I've followed good ole Philly all the way to heart break. So again we all know the East side of PA is the place to be.

. . .except when it comes to baseball. Props to the Phillies, the losingest sports team ever - current holders of the 16-losing-season record, and the proud owners of over 10,000 losses - for reaching the playoffs last year. When you've been around for 124 years, you're gonna rack up some losses. 🙂

Eh the Eagles are in the toughest division in football so for them to miss the play offs by one game when they had a terrible season isnt all that bad.
Good point about the Phillies people are quick to point out that they are the losingest team in sports history but they are also one of the oldest professional sport teams in the world.
