Pitcher with 10.97 ERA blanks Pirates in Seattle

Jeff Weaver, he of the 10.97 ERA (prior to tonight) 3-hit the Pirates in a 7-0 shutout tonight.

Wonder what I could get. . .certainly I'd get a better team to root for. I'm tired of my team being the one all the SHITTY pitchers rebound on.

What you need to do is pick an American League favorite so that you can still be a Pirates fan but then you can also have another team to root for as well. There's this other AL team that could always use more fans in their war against the evil empire......

But. . .but the Yankees are about the only team that gets any coverage nationally! It's amazing how they do this, considering they HAVE to play against another team, but the media manages it somehow.
