There was an ad for Saw III on the forums. It's coming out on DVD Jan 23rd. I liked Saw II, but are they starting to run this into the ground? What do you think?

#2 Sorry man... I absolute HATE those types of movies...
Just like Bubba hates Sci-Fi.
See I love action movies where bad guys get killed etc...
Slasher movies innocent people die for no reason usually. I really hate that. I only want to see bad guys bite it...
I never seen Saw or chainsaw or most slasher movies.
I did see one or two Friday the 13th movies and have seen some of the older slasher movies back in the day but just do not like them. never seen any nightmare on elm streets...
So no interest to me watching a movie where innocent people have to kill each other... No thanks man.. Real life is bad enough... -
#3 Heh Paladin, the only reason you go see this kinda movie is to have your date freak out where you have to calm her down in the back seat 😉
Otherwise, they are lame as hell, lol. -

I liked the first and second ones. I haven't seen the third yet, I have heard it is good though. Atomm, I don't think that there will be anymore of them. I read somewhere right before the release of the third that the original writer died of a heart attack. He was only in his 30's... I will check MSN and see if I can find the link again.
Perhaps that does show just a little how twisted I can be, I hate all the happy sappy movies where the good guy always wins. It doesn't bother me to see "all the poor little innocent ppl" get blown away at all. And if you had watched the Saw movies you would know that the ppl that he has gathered there are not "all innocent". In his mind they have committed crimes against themselves and other ppl.
OK, here's a link where they talk about it some, and I was wrong it was the producer not the writer. It just says how the movie is dedicated to him.

I did not say the "good" guy had to always win did I? I just like to see the bad guys bite it more. There have been really good movies where the main character dies and that is really sad but I do not avoid it.
Either way seeing people cut each other up is not my bag, if it thrills you, great! That is why they make those movies. I just think real life is bad enough, with terrorism and the dumbing down of society, anymore to have to see even more in my entertainment.
Sindy, BTW How have you been? Have not seen you in game for the past two weeks? -
#6 Paladin, how can you make a statement about a movie you have never seen? Seriously, this is not a hack and slash movie. It is a Thriller/Horror flick. I would say Saw is along the lines of the Usual Suspects or Seven. It leads you down a path and you have no idea what is really happening. It was one of the best thrillers I had seen in a long, long time.
Yes, there are some gory moments, but this is nothing like Friday The 13th or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's not even in the same movie genre. In fact, if you had seen the movie, you would know that the people involved are far from innocent. That's the whole point of the story. -
#7 Atomm, I was totally blown away at the end of both movies... And SAWII I saw at the drive-in with Doom!! Way cool!
And woah, don't even get me started on Seven... That was totally twisted and great! I guess I just have a dark personality, I like stories that challenge your mind regardless of the "weight of the world"...
And since I pulled one of my sticks of RAM BF2 lags for me. SO, you prob won't see me at FNF very much until a.) I put it back in or b.) i get a matched set... dunno yet. -

Ah, that sucks. At least use xfire once in awhile so we can find you in CS 🙂
I liked the tombraider skin btw.. 😉 -

HEHE, those are cute huh? I had them take my name off the girl skin list though... It just got in the way, getting team attacked and ppl just standing in the way staring in general. So, just like Bubba knew all along I'm a dude again! LOL
I don't run X-fire in CS, with my shortage of RAM it lags me as well. However, I am always on Steam Friends when I'm playing. Which you were not the other night! 😛 -

Umm you mention you could put it back in so I will assume it is still good. So then I ask myself, Paladin, why did Sindy pull her RAM module if it was working okay and why does she just not put it back in?
I understand you mentioned you do not have a matched set but isn't an unmatched set better than just having one in???Atomm wrote:

I heard a lot about it from various people so never had the desire. I am happy you enjoyed it.
Who knows maybe some day I will watch it.
