Ever hear the audio outtake of Casey going nuts in the studio? Him being pissed off because he has to do a 'death dedication' for a little kid that lost his dog, and they're making him do it just out of an upbeat record. He must've had a bad day.

Doc found the voice of the shag man... It's none other than Kasey Kasem. The funny thing about that is I didn't know it myself until a few years back when he was talking about it on his radio show. Turns out, he's been the voice since day one.

I have heard that tirade. One of the night dj's when I worked in radio had edited it and added all sorts of sound effects like slamming stuff and breaking dishes. It was great!

I thought it was Rodgers. Of course, That's one of those names that's hard to tell when you hear it.....

BTW, my daughter loves Scooby Doo.... And it's all my fault.... :-)

Ever notice that Shaggy is always like stoned and has a talking dog they commonly refer to Scooby "Dooby" Doo? There's messages right there.

Ironically, the director of Scooby Doo just died.

I used to work with a Baptist Minister at Sears (here in the bible belt, a lot of ministers have a couple jobs, since the ratio is about 1 minister for every 3 ppl). I'm afraid I ruined his perception of Scooby-Doo by explaining the drug references. He was a graduate of Bob Jones University. . .
