The site started slowing down again today acound 11AM..... Now at 7 it is at a crawl? 🙁
Slowdown again?

#3 post deleted. I hope that helps. -
#4 Relize now that maybe I shouldn't have deleted the post and left something for Atomm to see 🙁
Site is still wicked slow. -
#5 HHHMMMMMM interesting.... I was thinking the same thing but now that the post is deleted the site is snappy again for me. -
#6 shouldn't be too hard for him to figure out. It was posted a 2:45 am Sunday server time. THis is for Atomm. -
#7 I cleared my cache and that seemed to help a lot. -
#8 Yeah, I't extremely snappynow... I may still have that IP on my other machine. I did investigate it a little. Same twerp i think that hacked my site 3 times. -
#9 Times like this I wish the web had a TK punish. -
#10 Still running extremely slow. took almost 8 minutes for this post to load. Who knows how long it will take to reply. -
#11 sometimes the site is quick like a bunny for me, but off and on I get major slowdowns. Like drix, it took me nearly 5 minutes to load the thread. 🙁 -

#14 Is there an echo in here?
I need to tweak the database settings. I'll try to work on that soon, but the whole relo thing has consumed me.... -
#15 I noticed there is another spam in the music thread. I think the site is getting hammered with this sort of thing causing the slow down. -
#16 This site is 100% inaccessable for me and Sarge from work, we both tried all day. At home I am with a different provider and it work OK here, but from work there is no way. We can get the front page but once we click on the forums, it's all gone. -
#17 Its working very well for me at home now and I have the same provider as at work. I don't know what to think. -
#18 I actually have the same issue. From home it just down right flies. At work it is very slow. I had to clear my cache and the forums started working. I also noticed there is another add in the forums again since the last slowdown. I'll get the IP and delete the message. -
#19 can we block the IP? -
#20 that is what I was thinking. -
#21 IP banned from the forums only. Post deleted. Now to see if it speeds up. -
#22 I can already tell a little. -
#23 another thought, even though I hate the idea on other boards. Maybe we make you join to post. i.e. no more guest posts -
#24 by the way Sarge this post is through our office network, seems to be working there too now, and much snappier. -
#25 Good, funny thing is unless I log on, I can't post. How are others? -
#26 Not that we would ever do such a thing as browse the web from work, but if we had considered it, we wouldn't be able to visit this site. Can only get the header to pop up from our office. I am posting from home now and have no problems though from the same provider.
Must be something wrong with our system administrator 😉 -
#27 System admin is solid, I blame the site admin!!
Yeah sorry guys it's a no-go from our office, but works great from home. Can't think of what could do that -
#28 I'm getting the same problem now at work. Just the top banner or the top banner and the station. Funny thing is, I cleared my cache again. Page came up fine for me, I logged on and "BAM!" Just a header again after logon. I think we have other issues. I went to connect VIA FTP to take out the java header rotation code and I could only transfer 2.8k before I was disconnected. I'm beginning to wonder if it is a server issue because of ftp connectivity. I was even bypassing our PROXY at work so I could not blame it on that. I don't know. When atomm returns from his trip maybe he'll have a few minutes to check the engine under this site's hood. -
#29 Raze, I'll try to take a look at it.
One thing to do is to use the old theme when you are having problems. If it loads, then it's the theme. If it doesn't load, then it's the server. If it takes forever, then the server is sucking, but the theme may not do well when that happens. -
#30 Something interesting, I have IE7 at home and it picks gamers as a suspicious phishing site. I wonder if proxy servers are picking the same thing up and stopping content. -
#31 Crud crud crud crud crud crud......
It is the theme. I'll put it back green today until we figure something out.
:-( -
#32 yep, I set a personal theme to something else and it works fine. -
#33 I did however get the original green forum them to work! :-) -
#34 Like the glowing eyes on the GRB skull. Are you gonna go back red? -
#35 The plan is yes. -
#36 Raze, do you think it's something you added to the theme? I can take the original you built from and see if it has the same problem. -
#37 That's the deal, I didn't add anything other than the radio stuff and the rotating image which is just a simple javascript. All the rest was just cosmetic.
