Now all team have their badwagon when they are good, but jesus the Patriots thing is overwhelming. When I have people who have never seen a football game telling me how great the pats are it's obnoxious. In the grocery store they have everything Pats themed.

I feel your pain Bubba.... I think they got off easy this year. Especially when they were caught cheating on the what was it... the Jet's game? Or is it the only game they were caught on. Pretty bad when you have to cheat to beat the Jets. (Sorry jets fans!)

They did get caught cheating in the Jets game, in that they were caught filming defensive signals in the first quarter of the opening game of the season. You can't really say that it had any benefit to them during the game or the rest of the season however, and you know that they've been watched closely since then. They were alsos heavily fined, and lost their first draft pick which would have been much more critical had they sucked this year.

Not to excuse the coach, but the Patriots were, I am sure, not the only team doing this, they just happened to be the one that got caught. They just keep getting the attention over it because they've had such a good season and the announcers need to have something to talk about. Given today's technology, almost anyone could be filming without someone else knowing and they probably are. One of the rumors of why the NFL destroyed the "evidence" sent to them by the Patriots is that the tapes showed other teams engaged in the illegal activity

Well, since Bubba is the only person around here that I know that isn't a Pats fan, I wouldn't be too sure of that.

The Giants are going to be a tough team to beat, but I'm convinced that the Pats can do it.
