I didn't see a thread about this. If I'd seen one near the time it was aired, I would've ignored it anyway, since I saw it later.

Haven't seen the show in years. I think the last whole season I saw was season 3, but I was curious, so I watched the last 2 episodes.

I have to say I was taken aback by the final scene; I think EVERYONE was at first. After thinking it over, and having people far brighter (and more familiar with the material) than I am spoon-feed me the clues, I think it was a great ending. The show was a bit more soap-opera-like than I had remembered, but it was a damn good soap-opera, with violence. VI-O-LENCE!

Anyway, here's a great breakdown of the last scene:

It's interesting how the outcry that happened right after the episode ended has sort of turned to awe over the piece of art that it was. I haven't seen it, but from the sounds of it, it is a masterpiece.

Reading now.... Haven't heard anything on it, but I'm living under a rock at the moment. Don't get much in the way of radio/news down here.... :-)

Ok, I've spent 5 minutes reading Bob's site and I am still trying to get to the actual post. Sheesh, and you thought I was long winded.....

Sounds like they did a good job.

I imagine it was better than the final episode of Stargate SG1 is going to be this Friday.
