Space Shuttle

For anyone that is into these types of things. NASA TV (Google it) is showing the launch of the space shuttle.

It is in the next hour, they are holding at 9MIN right now. 😉

I have been streaming this channel on my cell phone. It has been really cool. They air space walks and all kinds of cool behind the scenes things.

The other day I watched the Russians lay out an ethernet cable from one side of the space station to the other.

Neat stuff.

Speaking of expensive, I was reading an article the other day that talked about how expensive it will be to establish a base on the moon. One example they gave was based on the cost to get supplies to the moon. Each bottle of water the astronauts drank would cost about $13,000. Man, that's crazy.....

They better be recycling their urine! At $13,000 a bottle, I don't care HOW disgusting it sounds.

Actually, they already do that on the Space Station. They also recycle bath water. It's an inside joke about the bond they share being unique.
