Spin Battery

    This seems to be one of those leaps in knowledge that we're always looking for. As far as I can tell, it is significant just to know this happens. I hope we get some sort of practical, improved battery, or at least a new kind of data storage out of it, but discovering this seems to be significant all on it's own, and will further our understanding of magnetism.

    interesting technology, and since there are lots of Japanese looking names listed as contributors to the paper, you know its not vaporware.
