    Wow, Morgan Freeman is hospitalized in a car accident.

    Bernie Mac is in very serious condition from pneumonia.

    Also reported is Annette Funicello is near death from her MS. She may not last the week.

    Apparently, there was another woman in the car with Morgan when it happened. Now, his wife of 20 years is seeking a divorce. I'm not saying the two are related........ Hmmmm.....

    I recall reading that she was supposed to be a friend of the wife. . .owch.

    Still, hope I still know what to do with women, and still can, when I'm 72.

    Wow! Man, that sucks about Bernie Mac. I love his sitcom. His delivery was right on.

    TF2? Man, that's already taken. How about T2? Drats, can't use that. Ok, TFR2..... Yea, that's it.

    The Dave Matthews Band Sax player LeRoi Moore died. He was 46.
    he had an ATV accident in June and I guess was worse off then he thought.

    So that is 3 then.

    Bernie Mac is going to be missed. he was one funny guy that's for sure! RIP Bernie!

    Richard Wright, a founder member of Pink Floyd, died today at the age of 65 after battling cancer, his spokesman said.
    Wright played the keyboard with the legendary band and wrote music in classic albums like the Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here.
    His spokesman said: "The family of Richard Wright, founder member of Pink Floyd, announce with great sadness, that Richard died today after a short struggle with cancer.
    "The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."

    One of my greatest concert memories was seeing Pink Floyd's Division Bell, not once, but two nights in a row. One I paid and the other was free. You can't beat two for one Floyd. :-)

    While Great Gig in the Sky was cool, it's Shine On You Crazy Diamond that really stands out in my mind. It was very moving. To this day, I can listen to parts I and II and it's as if I was back in Texas Stadium at the show.

    Cool! Gotta love that value, considering the price of concerts! I have great memories of my Floyd concert as well. I saw them on their "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" tour. It's INCREDIBLY cool to be getting out of work, and instead of doing nothing, SURPRISE! You find out you're going to a Pink Floyd concert in a couple hours! Really casts a different look on the day 😀

    "Wish You Were Here" is absolutely my favorite Floyd album. Great tunes, and it has a nice flow. I always hated that about "Time" and "Money" on DSOTM. Great songs, but the bells and cash registers are a bit jarring to me. "Great Gig in the Sky" just happens to be my favorite song by them(and, for the purposes of this thread, I thought it would be good, since I knew it was written by Wright). I remember walking across the bridge to get to 3 Rivers Stadium the evening of the concert, and hearing the vocalists warm up with it.

    I'm also fond of "One of These Days". A great, driving beat and awesome guitar work that builds to a climax. I have to stop myself from listing song after song here. 🙂
