OK, i here in the Forums right now because I'm about to go nuts. Out of 9 people in the office, 10 if you count the boss, I am the only one here.

3 out of 3.33 Helpdesk people - out
    4 out of 4.34 SysAdmins - out
    1 out of 1.33 WebAdmins - out
    Boss - Out.

If you are wondering the .33 + .34 + .33 = Me Good thing I'm well rounded in knowledge of the group. If it wasn't for my boss's boss, the IT Manager, I'd shut the door and jam out doing a few calls of course inbetween. What really stinks about this whole thing is, I'm to dependable. I'm always the one this seems to happen to. Oh well. I'm tired of ranting now. I'll get back to work.

yeah that happened to me 2 weeks ago of 13 people from my office I was the only one here. Sad thing is, ours is a planning office and I am not a planner even. Life goes on.

    Hey hey hey.
Let me joint the pity party!

3 weeks ago, 11 of our 12 went to Orlando for a week of factory training.
Yours truly let to man the phones.

2 Weeks ago our company hosted the pre-requisite factory product demo "on tour" for all our customers.
Still Johnny on the spot for tech support.

1 Week ago all outside engineers and and both sales forces off site meetings for "strategic planning"
Still the Lone Ranger on TS.

This week everyone is so f-ing busy from being out of the loop it will be Thursday before anyone can start fielding new calls.

My HUGE plus is that I'm 3,000 miles from them, have not been in the building my business card says I'm at in 3 1/2 years, and I can listen to |GRB| and drink beer while talking to customers.....
    My job rocks....
And I want to leave it for the real world and move to Dallas.... Am I stupid?

I wondered why you wanted to leave that, but I guess it's sorta like when I decided to leave on-site support at the university(you know when I went to the hot chicks room and played the hero). btw I wouldn't do room calls for guys or chicks that sounded ugly

I just finished my first week of work after having been unemployed for the past 5 weeks. I love it, I'm working 11-12 hour days and still loving it . Its actually exciting to have something to do the next day. I'm sure it will wear off soon enough.

Bubba, I think you have it backwards. It's not a Flaming Retard Repelant suit. It's more like a halloween outfit that makes you look like a Flaming Retard.

What a minute.... Ok, if the suit fits, wear it.......

FYI, I haven't laughed this hard at a post in a long, long time.
