Well going to start using Teamspeak and was wondering what type of mics you guys use, or would be good for it? Logged on now and hear a few of you but can't say whazzzaappenning NO MIC. what a sorry bastard I am!!!
Most of us use headsets with mics. I use Logitech myself. The biggest thing to remember is to key your mic. That means binding the mic to a particular key.
I use a labtech mic that I got for like $10 at Bestbuy. Don't need to worry about waking anyone or annoying anyone while in my basement office so I don't need a headset. Bubba has the same mic as myself, but seems to have problems with static - I don't know what the cause of it is though.

When i was on the other night yours was the clearest, most legible. I think it was Hitpawz that was the hardest to understand. Oh Yeah Basement office are the best!!!
Yeah i would think that there are a lot of varibles that would affect the performance. I like playing through speaker rather than a head set, tried headphones of good quality, sony, the other night but went back to speakers. $10 realistics. Yeah messy, beer cans everywhere, computer parts everywhere. Bad Boy! Just got to a breaking point and cleared it all out. Good Boy!
Really? I always thought mine worked fine. Does anybody else have trouble understanding me? You guys always answer my ?'s and nobody mentioned it to me.

I could understand you but as i said you were the hardest to understand (worst quality), i knew it be trouble with wording properly and using names. It does work fine! It just wasn't as good as Sarge!
