Texas Holdem

As with much of the country, I've got the Texas Holdem bug. I picked it up a few months ago, and started playing No Limit with the buds at work. Anyone else catch the bug? While on a business trip to California, I found thier poker room and played $2/$4 limit texas holdem and made a killing (400% profit). I'm supposed to go back this week or next to finish the project (we are waiting on the casino to make up thier minds on a layout for our games) and I plan on making another killing. 🙂

I've watched a match or three on cable when there was nothing else on. It's pretty catchy, but I don't make a good gambler. Baz is big into it. He plays online for cash all the time.

Just need to learn to play tight is all to start with. On a full table of 8, you only HAVE to bet on a minimum of 2 hands, the rest you can let slide. On a $2/$4 game, even if you dont play a hand for an hour, you'll only be down about $20. 🙂

I was watching my girlfriend's 20 year old cousin play online the other night, $6 to get in and no limit. I asked if he had to log in with a credit card. His reply,"No, they're directly linked to a service that takes it straight out of my bank account." :roll: The kid doesn't drink, smoke or have any other debilitating habits of any sort, what can you say?

mmmmm, guess I forgot to mention how much I owe my bookie for Payton Manning's brilliant performance this past Sunday.........They never believe the fire is hot and it hurts till they stick their own hand in it anyway.....Ouch that hurts "fooking Rams"...Ouch that hurts "fooking Colts"
