Hardocp.com posted some links to sales for PC games. So if you're shopping around for a new game, here are some places to start. I'm tempted to pick up Dead Space via Steam... only $15. Left 4 Dead 2 is only $37.49 via Steam.
DevilDog told me about the THQ Complete Pack available through Steam. It's basically $400 worth of games and expansion packs for only $50. It includes Frontlines Fuel of War, all Red Faction games and expansions, Company of Heroes & all it's expansions, Stalker, Full Spectrum Warrior and it's expansions, Titan Quest and it's expansions, Warhammer and all it's expansions, along with a few others.
That is an incredible amount of content for that price.

Thanks for the great leads. Much appreciated! I'll post some more when I find them. We all know this is the season when retailers advertise some very good deals, so I'd like to keep this thread going thru Christmas to alert our friends to good prices on things they might need.
I have been using their timeline software which is very similar to Apple's Timemachine software. It does nice recursive backups at $17 I think it's a steal. Check it out.
I have a month of backups and the size of the backups=the size of files to be backedup somehow. In other words, I have data 108Gb in size to be backed up. I can restore from any point in the last month (since I have been running the software) and the total size of my backup folder =106Gb. My time points are every hour today. Every day in the past week and once a week every week.
32 meg cache, supposed to be one of the fastest drives. Also reported to run relatively cool and quiet, and I've heard rumors about it making great coffee.

Yah it gets worse than this even. I was looking for netbooks. I found one barebones Zotac for $150 and this morning my email alert went off on another Asus netbook with XP for $199. It was literally sold out in 5 mins after I placed the order. Daughter gets the Asus, my truck gets the Zotac 🙂

Netbooks are okay but they really are not very good laptop replacements. They are great for just having a nice web browser though. I would like one but not until the screen resolution gets to be 1024X768. That 600 vertical res bothers the heck out of me having to scroll web pages. 🙂
I am with you 100% on that Pal. I get tempted by the low prices then eventually I try to think of what it would be useful for and realize my Iphone is a better tool for those things.
Of course its not a laptop replacement 😛 However a few enhancements have been made to them over the last year. The Zotar for ex has a couple of mini pcie internal slots, and an external pcie32. With a SSD, a GPS and BT module you can run it as a head unit, even watch a movie while the wife is in the mall 😉
Iphones are nice but I don't like the little screen (have a iTouch) or the pay by month service. Now I just need to find a monitor to attach to the dashboard.
Its more of a 'what can i make this do' than anything 🙂 Since I have a GMC truck with a wierd dash layout there are NO headunits that will fit 🙁 Should of bought a Ford 🙂
We play Unreal Tournament 2004 every Saturday on the =DC= server - this is an awesome deal through Steam that allows you to join the fun. Plus it includes a ton of other Unreal games for you to play. The original Unreal is an incredible single player game. Unreal 2 is decent - it looks pretty but is a much shorter single player experience.
