    So here's the Man's Thread. All things testosterone, all the time.

    Inspired by a most manly thread over at the Straight Dope.

    The Coolest Bomber Aircraft

    I won't go into too much about the above threads - no point in trying to recreate what's been done so well there - but I will post a cool plane or two.

    The Saab Drakken - cool name, ultra-cool look, and look at the pic - it looks like it passing plasma balls out it's exhaust. What's more cool or manly than a vehicle giving off plasma ball exhaust? OK, plasma rings exhaust like a Jetson's car might be cooler, but not more manly.

    The F4U Corsair - good enough for the Black Sheep squadron, good enough for me!

    This almost went in the AWESOME links thread, but it busted out and made it's way here.

    Dogfight in planes without a pilot's license. . .or dying. . .or, you know, real weapons. . .but it's as close as you'll ever WANT to get to dogfighting, if you have any sense of mortality.

    As was said in the harp forum where I found this, John Leslie is, by definition, the most interesting man in almost ANY room. Porn star AND blues man. As was also said in the harp forum, "Remind me not to borrow his harp." 😉

    It's nothing especially tricky or complicated, but I believe his harp playing is better than his singing. Surprisingly solid. I'd drink beer and listen to it.

    OK, you might say I'd listen to anything if I could drink beer while doing it, but after a few brews, I might be tempted to shut them up if I'm not enjoying it. 😀 There was this one "band" that called themselves the Paisley Iguanas. . . fortunately, they ended their performance early, as the idea of beating up the band was gaining popular acceptance at our table.
