This Day in GRB

May 28, 2004

GRB hosts a great night of custom maps made by our members. Our Custom BFV server "The Rock" was full all night long with players waiting to get in.

Wow, how did you remember that?

Man, I think I remember that night. We did all of Lou's, Scott and Raze's map. I remember playing Ghost in the Darkness with a full server. The tunnels on that map were awesome!

You know, BFV wasn't my favorite of the BF games, but it was my favorite for custom maps.

yup yup...

Today in GRB, May 29, 2004....

'Twas the day after said custom map night!

"and there was much rejoicing [yay!]"

Wait until you see tomorrows update.

LOL! Funny thing about that game was a map that i just threw together in like a couple hours became somewhat popular. "Ebony Eyes"

It was one of the maps for match play in TWL. I liked it.

I forgot about that map. It was cool!

Today in GRB History:

June 2, 2008 Atomm complains he gets dizzy while in game.

Try June 2, 1994. Atomm rolls onto the floor sick as he plays his first 15 minutes of Doom.....

And again in June 2, 1999, Atomm repeats said sick roll as he plays his first 15 minutes of Unreal Tournament.

Yeah i remember being at your house and playing BFV and you got a case of the dizzies playing one of lou's maps. You ended up on the floor on your back holding your head.

It was the map with the under water tunnels. Remember the one where he used wood to push you under the water? Wow, I can't believe I remember that....

Still, BFV customs were awesome.....
