I used to have several of those. I thought there would be more daredevils from the late 80's, there were some really good ones then. Also expected thePunisher #3 and Ghost Rider #15

I had a few of those, though I've never been much of a Marvel fan. Whoever made this list is inordinately attached to first issues.

This one looks like a Frazetta to me. A lot of great covers here, though I don't necessarily think all the #1's deserve to be on this list.

its funny how you mentioned "Secret wars" but it didn't ring a bell until I saw some of the covers.

The Ghost rider I showed above was the "glow in the dark" cover, I know, a dumb gimmick, but it was cool. I bought the T shirt of it that also glew in the dark. I wore that shirt until there was no fabric left.

That was one of the comics I had. Sold it a long time ago, along with others, to finance my Windows '95 machine. No, wait, I sold my best Magic: The Gathering cards to finance that. What did I buy with my comics? Humm. . . Nope, can't remember. Maybe both. Yeah, I bet I sold both to finance my Win '95 machine. Had to have been something big to get me to sell them.

Glew? Glew? Nope, Firefox doesn't like that word 😀

But the coolest comic of all was the one where they used the blood of the artist to make the book. In this case, the artist was a band. Anyone know the band?

ahhh but there was the rumor that the blood actually ended up being used in a printing of Sports Illustrated by mistake.

Are you being serious or making that up?

    Either way, it's funny......
