Upcoming 3D TV events

    The super bowl will have some sort of extended commercial for Dreamworks new cartoon, "Monsters VS Aliens", along with a 3D Sobe dancing lizards commercial.

    On Monday night, "Chuck" will be in 3D.

    Some stores that will have the 3D glasses near the Sobe/Pepsi displays are:

    Krogers
    K-Mart
    Food Lion
    Ralphs
    Frys
    Safeway/Vons
    Albertsons
    A & P
    Pathmark
    Winn-Dixie
    Dollar General
    and in some places, CVS

    I heard that Target may have them on Saturday.

    ok... doc? Calm down. yes the steelers are in the super bowl (as we are all aware probably for the last time in the history of ever [because miami will kick their ass next year {after the steelers go 0-16}following the example of the lions] who did awful this season) but that's no reason to go overboard with that.. ya know... that terrible... awful towel of yours. So, lets just forget this ever happened and... oh wait 3d commercials FTW!!!

    Personally, I don't like 3D. We went to see Bolt in 3D and both me and the kiddo had to leave. It was giving us a terrible headache. But we all know I'm an anomaly.

    3D during the superbowl commercials is a gimmick that has been tried before. I remember people fighting over the glasses for a short commercial and thinking, what a waste of time and effort.

    I am a Miami fan as well, but I am not sure we can be trash talking quite yet.

    Ok, well you are standing on your own here. I expect next year to be worse than this year, though a step in the correct direction still.


    As for the SB, I am rooting for the Steelers. Go AFC!

    ok, i don't know why you guys are taking this seriously as my last two posts have obviously been sarcastic in spirit. This thread has nothing to do with the super bowl, yet that's what my comments have been about. Then I said "Oo, 3d commercials." as if I hadn't seen that the topic was named thus. Now, I shall renew my sarcacrytic oath [sarcasm]

    I mean, come on, the steelers? When have they ever had a good defense? I mean, really! That towel was never terrible.

    Hehe, its certainly not worth words over. Its a friggen game, once a year. ;p

    I always root for the AFC team tho. NFC had way too many SB wins the decade before.

    Anyone have the stat for SB wins by AFC vs NFC ?
