Vent issue

    All night tonight 12-2-09 I kept getting kicked from Vent.
    Message I kept receiving was:


    You have been kicked from the server. Duplicate IP's are not allowed for your account.


    I would Alt:Tab out, close Vent, wait 3, 4, 5 min then re-start Vent and it would be useable for for ~30 - 45Min and then I'd get kicked again.

    Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
    All night long.

    I did notice some lag issues in game that I have never had before (I just don;t lag with DDO) so there may have been an ISP issue but can;t figure out the duplicate IP message.

    Any way - thought I'd post it up for some one to look in to (if they want to)

    I was getting a bit of lag in DDO last night as well. No problems in vent however. Maybe the vent server needs a restart?

    Atomm, hey man, I just noticed that in DDO you have the guild listed with the vent server information, including the password. Can you remove that please?

    The idea of password protecting it was to discourage random people from using it 🙂

    Maybe it ought to be stated to talk to a guild member to get the password (and then remind us all what it is).

    Only GUILD members see what's IN the guild tab.
    For non guild members the tab is BLANK.

    So no worries on the password.

    Okay cool. Sorry I just wanted to mention it in case others could see it. My bad 🙂
