Anyone planning on watching this? I tivo'd the two hour premiere, but I'm not sure when I'll get to it.

Looks like XFiles meets The Librarian.

Tuesday Nights on SciFi, oh yea, SyFy as they are now known.

I recorded it as well but have yet to watch it. The one review that I saw was positive towards it, so I'll check it out...

Watched it. it was...well okay... Kind of slow and not nearly as good as I thought it was going to be. It did not explain things the way I thought it should and some characters seemed tossed in with no real reason nor explanation. The background of the place was minimal and the I have no idea how it works or why got a bit old.

I will give it some time but if it doesn't pick up the pace and get more interesting, it will fail.
Sad as I had high hopes for this one.

Is it just me or is anyone else pissed off an renaming Sci-Fi to SyFy?? FAIL!!!!

Yea, SyFy was kind of stupid to me too.

I had low expectations for this and yet I actually liked it. I guess it's all in what you expect.

Aaaahh, it's a pilot. They always suck. The one-hour regular shows will be better paced, I'm sure.

Looks promising. The two leads remind me of the two leads on Fringe. John Noble (Walter) would be cool in this show. 😀

syfy sucks, but I like it, because it reflects the large amount of suckyness that IS their channel and programming. Outside of the first Galactica series, the Stargate shows, and Farscape, I hate just about everything they show. They even canceled MST3K, and that show was dirt-cheap to produce.

I ran into someone else on another board comparing it to The Librarian, and it reminded me to come back here and say that I didn't think anyone else on the planet had seen them, or would remember them if they had. Of course, since someone else has now mentioned it, it doesn't seem that odd or obscure now. 😀

Cheesy fun, that series of movies.

I just watched what I think was episode #3 of the Librarian a few months back. I liked it.

It's also been described as Friday The 13th, The Series. I watched that as a young lad before we had cable.

So I've been reading and found out some interesting background. It seems #13 represents the 13th implementation of the warehouse. The first was during Alexander's reign. It seems their is a group of directors that watch over the warehouse and they move it to the place with the most power. The 12th warehouse was in Britain during the British Empire's reign.

I think this has potential. The steampunk elements are kind of fun.
