WOOHOO! I Passed!

    It seems like I have been working on this forever. What started with my first class in July 2003 is now complete. I flunked my CCNA the first time and it really screwed with my confidence, but I took it again today and passed. WOOHOO!

    Oh yea, I passed it right on the nose. I scored an 849 and that was the absolute lowest you could score and still pass. Heh. I said all along, I would settle for an 849. 😄

    For those of you that are wondering, CCNA is Cisco Certified Network Associate. It's an entry level Cisco test that covers a heck of a lot of topics. It is also a very difficult test. Now, I can start working on the next level, CCNP. This time, it will only take 4 tests to earn the cert. Sheesh...... :?

    Heh! Thanks everyone.

    Redhat Cert? I think I need to start with Baby Steps. I am actually looking at my Linux+ sometime this year. We will see how well that goes. :-)

    Atomm that's AWESOME!
    I need to start that here myself, at the local collage, they have a great IT program.

    My daughter is in an "IT track" at her high school and has 1 1/2 years for "IT" study so fer, prior ti graduating her senior year her "track' will take the CCNA exam.

    I can only hope it sets her up for further education in computers and engineering.

    Again, great work! Show us your first pay check with that forth comming raise.

    I wish it came with a raise. Maybe when I use it to get that Network Designer job I have been looking for. :-)
