If anyone has Qwest as a service provider they are offering 5meg down and 876 up for $29 for the 1st year and $38 after that. I was just paying $30 total ($15 for ISP and 15 for line charge) for 256k. Save a dollar and blow away my current speed, but am a little sceptical about MSN.
You don't have to use the MSN that comes with those packages. MSN came with my Verizon DSL and I have never touched it. Just installed the modem, set up the connection and my email accounts through verizon and let fly.
Yeah DSL! And I don't need to change modems they will just update the firmware. Should be up by weds. Didn't think it could run so fast on DSL! Can't wait, I'm going to have to chage my game play and not shoot so far ahead of people when they run. Thats what I thought Sarge, but the gal I spoke to said there was a minimal install from MSN, but I could choose not to use their browser, firewall and something else.
