Writers Strike Fallout

I read today that Dead Zone on the USA Network was canned. No final episode. No movie to fill in the blanks. Just capote. That really pisses me off. I really liked that show. I looked forward to watching it every summer.

Also, it appears that Hero's has been put on hold for the spring. At least from what I could find. They are however, doing an online graphic novel to fill in the blanks. How ironic, the thing the writers are most against, is being used as a tool to keep fans interested during the downtime.

Does anyone know if Journeyman has been officially canned? This is one show that was getting better as it went along and I would hate for it to be canned.

Reaper is back on the air, but it appears to be starting over at episode one. I did read that there will be 3 new episodes at the end of the run.

Caprica, the Battlestar Gallatica prequel, which was not receiving much attention is being looked at by SciFi due to the fact that it is a fully written script. I'm not sure if I really care about this to be honest. I'm still pissed at the way they are handling BSG as it is.

Lost is rumored to be on for 8 episodes only this year. What a bunch of crap.....

The directors are about to start negotiating. I hope it adds to the pressure that studios are feeling (or are they?)......

It is disappointing. I haven't heard anything about any shows continuing or not....but then again, I haven't been looking 😀

Much like the last (I think)baseball strike they are going to lose alot of people who never come back.

Sux about LOST and Heros.

On NPR today, they said the Producers gave the Directors what they wanted, which is way better than they are willing to give the Writers. There were also 65 Writers who were let go recently.

This is getting ugly......

F'ng studios! We want our shows back.....

I read today things may be coming to an end.... All I know is Lost better finish out this season or I'm going to boycott Hollywood.....
