So, it would appear in a bit of craziness a judge in the state of Kentucky ruled that gambling websites based elsewhere in the world could be accessed by the people of Kentucky (who knowingly went there) and so the judge ruled that Kentucky would take ownership of those domains.

Verisign who for some reason gets to rule the domain registry complied and turned over ownership of the domains in question to the state of kentucky!!!

WTF, when did the US get jurisdiction over something they don't own??? This is a disgrace.

Yea, it's a bunch of shit. To make matters worse, the reason they are doing this is because they are loosing money on horse racing. You know, I've never considered myself an anarchist, but I'm really starting to f'n hate gov'ment....

I was thinking a resident of Kentucky could present a lawsuit against the site, i.e. against the state of Kentucky, because hosting gambling in that state is illegal.
