Was wondering which if any of these programs you guys use and or prefer? I've been using The All Seeing Eye, but just stumbled on XFire. Or do you just use the in game console?
I'm lazy. I use the In Game Console. All Seeing Eye is great, but I hate jumping in and out of the game. I haven't tried XFire. Does it do AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN messaging as well? If it does, I might check it out.
Used to use ASE quite a bit, but lately use Team Speak and the in game browser. I also use a BF Tracks search for |GRB| to see if any of the guys are on if no one is in TS.

Yeah it does support all of those , and it's free!! Versus $30 life time w/ ASE

I haven't got a good look at it yet so i'll let ya know how it goes!!! Don't want to promote crapware, i'm taking a second look now, and am getting hesitant. <<thats why I was asking. Howdya like the self quote!!
It does not support any of the AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN messaging, after all!! Sorry for the miss info. (thought i saw icons in it somewhere)
Well it's been about 15 min. and can't seem to do much with this thing so... Don't DL it!! Disclaimer: If I can't figure the program out in 15 min. then it is too much trouble. All Seeing Eye was very simple!! Xfire seems good for a buddy list type thing, which everyone needs to be on Xfire, but doesn't support message-ware as previously mentioned. And, Either there are no game filters or they are to difficult to find.
Well I'd first like to thank myself for wasting my time with yet another bad but free program, and for curing my curiosity of the previously mentioned. Then I'd like to offer myself a Beer which I will gladly accept. Thank You, Thank You, for the Beer that is!!
I used to use ASE forever, however the last 2 times I've set up a new computer it works like crap. Even if I turn off all the filters I can only see about 20-30 BFV servers at all. The little server info shows it pinging 1200 something servers but somehow there is a hidden setting or something that I have spent HOURS trying to find. I like to think I know how to use ASE pretty well by now since Ive been using it since it was in Beta.... Oh well...
damn that sucks.... Only change I made was to use a different server listing. Now I do happen to show double for all players for BFV, but I can handle that.
