So I got a email my 4th annv. for GR is coming up. Not that I totally forgot about this place but my free time is so limited now - the reminder of cool people out there was nice 😀 I think its been a year since I last stopped by 😮 Glad to see this place is still kickin.

Since I was last here I finally got my HTPC running tits - even have Emu Center running flawlessly with nes and snes emulators. Whenever I get time to tinker with it again I'm adding a ps2 emu. My lad is 18 months now and it seems taking up even more of my time then when I had to feed him every 2 hours. I have been playing a lot of.....Super Mario and Donkey Kong Country haha. He sits next to me with his controller (old broken one) pounding on the buttons - its great. I need to find a "game" that consists of "press the x button - yay good job!" The wee one loves to sit at the wheel with gt4 running - he doesn't come close to reaching the pedals on the stand we built, but idle is enough for him to bounce off the walls and not hurt himself with the force feedback.

Ah how I miss being able to spend hours screwing off on the internet - I've been working from home for a year and a half. I told my husband when I started not to worry about me loosing my 'social' skills - all my friends live in my computer anyhow; but sadly I have no time for forums and the like anymore. I'm slipping - was at the store the other day and the cashier stacked some crap up high as she was bagging and I applauded her and said woohoo good job! - yeah I have issues haha.

So what fantastical exciting things have ya all been up too? Any one have some baby games suggestions (any platform, I'm getting pretty good at getting the emus to run correctly)?

Listenin to GR1, I almost forgot how awesome the station was! Thanks to all that make it possible.

Ha I saw your anniversry notice the other day and wondered if the auto email might drag you back here to us lunatics! Sounds busy, I am finally seeing things in my life calm down a bit which is refreshing. I might even get to go on vacation this year ;-)

I will leave it to the other guys to scare you away again!

Good to hear from you BG!

Glad to see that life is generally good (if busy) for you. Not much is new for me, work is busy, home life is busy, social life not so much. Gaming time has been infrequent of late but I keep hoping to find some extra time in my day for it.

My kids are almost eight now and they seem to eat up more and more of my time each year so you have that to look forward to 😉

We're all growing up fast around here, kids and adults both. My little one will be five in November.

BTW, what'cha doing to make money online? I've been playing with it in my not so very free time. It's not making me rich, but it did help when I was layed off a few years back.

Glad to hear you're all well 😀 Bubba I'm totally jealous, I haven't had a day off since Jan 08, much less vacation. Maybe I should run away from home! and yous guys don't scare me - I used to frequent some scary places back in the day; this is more like daycare gone wrong haha.

Thanks for the dreadful heads up Sarge, the lad already eats exactly what I do in the same or larger portions! He wasn't even a year and a half in that pic above - he's a freakin ox.

You're all OLD 😛 neener neener ...oh wait; I resemble that remark.

I'm in internet porn Atomm. Ok not really. I test 'adult' products. Ah I jest, I jest. I basically do the same thing I did as an employee of the dealership (warranty claims processing) just from home - yay for remote desktop! While its acceptable for some manufactures its generally frowned upon by them but I have over 13 years experience with Chrysler, and 7 with Toyota and rock my job. When I got pregnant I told them I would figure out how to make it work for me to work from home or I quit because I wanted to be with my son. They made me an independent contractor based on commission - which was great until Chryslers bankruptcy. When the factory started cutting times it killed me. I'm also starting to feel the hit from the gas crunch....no one bought new cars - so no cars are out there to need repairs under warranty. I need to either get more dealers under me or do something else, my pay is 1/3 what I got as an employee. I just can't imagine getting a 9-5r till my son is in school though.

I hearby nominate this as the best post evar!!!!!1!1!1!111!1

    🤣

That answer was awesome! I'm sorry to hear things have slowed down. I hope they pick back up soon. I think it's great that you've been able to stay home with the kiddo though. We kept our daughter home for a long time until my wife got to the point where she felt she could not keep her engaged.

Please, we need female humor in this place. By all means, don't be a stranger.....

My husband says if I get too much stranger he is fitting me for a helmet.

I'll try to stop in more often 🙂
