So I got a email my 4th annv. for GR is coming up. Not that I totally forgot about this place but my free time is so limited now - the reminder of cool people out there was nice 😀 I think its been a year since I last stopped by 😮 Glad to see this place is still kickin.
Since I was last here I finally got my HTPC running tits - even have Emu Center running flawlessly with nes and snes emulators. Whenever I get time to tinker with it again I'm adding a ps2 emu. My lad is 18 months now and it seems taking up even more of my time then when I had to feed him every 2 hours. I have been playing a lot of.....Super Mario and Donkey Kong Country haha. He sits next to me with his controller (old broken one) pounding on the buttons - its great. I need to find a "game" that consists of "press the x button - yay good job!" The wee one loves to sit at the wheel with gt4 running - he doesn't come close to reaching the pedals on the stand we built, but idle is enough for him to bounce off the walls and not hurt himself with the force feedback.
Ah how I miss being able to spend hours screwing off on the internet - I've been working from home for a year and a half. I told my husband when I started not to worry about me loosing my 'social' skills - all my friends live in my computer anyhow; but sadly I have no time for forums and the like anymore. I'm slipping - was at the store the other day and the cashier stacked some crap up high as she was bagging and I applauded her and said woohoo good job! - yeah I have issues haha.
So what fantastical exciting things have ya all been up too? Any one have some baby games suggestions (any platform, I'm getting pretty good at getting the emus to run correctly)?
Listenin to GR1, I almost forgot how awesome the station was! Thanks to all that make it possible.
