    1.) Sad, places with important critical private data need to learn to disallow Mp3, USB Keys and other devices to be hooked up to their computer systems. It'll never happen thogh

    2.) I often look at the Yahoo Week in Pictures, they often have great use of color.

    3.) 2nd gen biofuels will be a great alternative, interesting to see air carriers trying to use them.

    I worked at a Military establishment in Oklahoma. We had a policy against mp3 players and USB Drives being attached to computers. Did it stop anyone from doing it anyway? Nope.

    It's a real pain to administer.

    I can honestly say I am one of the few trustworthy IT admins then. I am proud that I NEVER look at people files on my servers. I back the stuff up but the content it is none of my business and I have always been like that. I also would never harm the data even if I got laid off. It is just not in me.

    Just like when I was kicked out of GRB, I would never have done any harm to anything here. It is just not in my nature to be a jerk like that 🙂

    What I especially would like to read of his works is the "Travels with Charley" here he is in search of America and Americans.

    His wife Elaine, concerned about her husband's health, was at first opposed to the trek. She could not change her husband's mind, however, and he christened his vehicle “Rocinante” in honor of Don Quixote's horse. Elaine provided the title Travels With Charley because both Steinbeck and Elaine admired Robert Louis Stevenson's Travels With a Donkey (1879).

    Ah yes, Steinbeck. Now here's a post I can get behind! I loved Tortilla Flat and Cannery Row. The Grapes of Wrath was also very good, but the speech Tom Joad gives near the end is so well-known and alluded to in our culture, that I laughed when I first read it. "OH! That's where that meme is from!" It's a pity I couldn't have come to it fresh.

    You are referring to Dean Koontz. No, it had rather to do with my advances in CoD W@W. 😛
    I read "Mr. Murder" and certainly liked it a lot. Tho I cannot say that this kind of entertaining criminal "fantastic" fiction is what I am into. Rather favor more realistic authors here like the fantastic Ruth Rendell or even more the Wallander series of the Swedish author Henning Mankell and leave the phantasy genre for itself.

    There are many good old things that I like about the for me typical american author Steinbeck. But what stuck most to me was his book Cannery Row. I love it. Never read "Grapes of Wrath" tho.

What I like about it tho, is that it shakes a normal tv consumer to an extent that she/he hopefully starts thinking what impact a story that is told only half way or wrongly and is even presented in a manipulative way can have on the public view.     Zoe Bell was the stuntwoman in "Death Proof". You know, in the segment where the 3 women catch up with Kurt Russell near the end. It's a bit odd to explain it. Her character in the movie is "Zoe Bell", and in the movie she was a stuntwoman. Playing herself, sort of.

    I think she was also the actual stuntwoman for Lucy Lawless in "Zena".

    I'll have to give this a watch.

    Very strange. Link is fixed now....

    Anyhow....the vet that has this really ugly cat is ours. He's very good and very cool guy all around. Was very surprised to see this on the news however 😀
