Its official, the new World of Warcraft expansion is titled Burning Crusades. The official website is up and confirms a lot of the rumors we originally posted.
From the official website:
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is the exciting new expansion to Blizzards award-winning massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It expands the game by tremendous bounds, adding new races, lands, Battlegrounds, professions and items, and more. Here is just a partial list of what you can expect from the World of Warcraft expansion:
An increase in the level cap to 70
Two new playable races, including the magical Blood Elves
New starting zones in QuelThalas and beyond
The entire new continent of Outland, reachable through the
Many new high-level dungeons to explore in Azeroth,
Outland, and elsewhere
New flying mounts in Outland
Many new and dangerous monsters, including epic world
Hundreds of new quests

And much, much more…
Well chalk another one up there for BF2, theyve been hacked, released bad patches, released incomplete server software, lost stats, released a in-game browser that worked less than the one included in the first game first version BUT now punkbuster appears to be kicking all players from server rendering BF2 useless.

I have no idea if it is true, so what better way to help fuel rumors than to help spread them. This info is being reported on multiple websites. What do you think? Is it real?
* The name is Burning Crusade.
* Takes place in the Outlands.
* Level cap raised to Level 70.
* 2 new races, Blood Elf (Horde) and TBA (Alliance).
* No new classes.
* New profession, Jewelcrafting, which will allow for slotting and modding items ala Diablo 2.
* New BE starter area and zones north of the Eastern Plaguelands, Silvermoon (their Capital City), Ghostland, and ZulAman.
* Epic FLYING FREAKING MOUNT useable only in Outlands.
* Small upgrades to the graphics engine (BE will have 20% more polygons than original races for example).
* Weather effects added.
* Exploring how to add in cross server Battlegrounds.
Here are supposedly wow screenshots from the new playable Blood Elves race. Interesting…..
My friends are always bragging that they bought gold online. “Hey man I bought 1000 gold yesterday for $60.” It got me to thinking. Who has time to make 1000 gold in WoW, and then sell it. Oh how naive I was. It is a $500 million dollar industry. The folks over at Electronic Gaming monthly recently got the scoop on these corporations who run sweatshops to do nothing but farm gold. Check out the article here .
When Atomm told me “Sure, feel free to post your rants on the website,” Im not sure he knew what he was doing. See I have all this pent up rage, and virtually no outlet for it. For years its been building and Ive reached the point where I can finally justify kicking the cat…… Continue reading Skorchs Rant of the Week →
If you have a FilePlanet account, even the free one, you are now eligible to beta test the new Star Wars Battlefront II game. You may remember the first game. It was the most successful Star Wars game ever sold. However, if you look for any online servers, you will be hard pressed to find one worth playing. You see, the first game played like a console game and the in game browser was the worst I have ever seen in a FPS.
Game companies gage the success of a game based on the number of copies sold. Initial sales were through the roof. Continued sales were terrible. I judge a game on its longevity and ability to endure. This game had neither. You may ask why I am so jaded? Well, I bought it the week it came out for the full price, played it once, then never played it again. It was a terrible game based on an awesome concept. So, if you have any interest in the sequel, I recommend checking out the beta before wasting your money a second time.
Beta Test Website
After you play it, be sure to drop back by and tell us what you think of it. Im curious to hear what others think about the sequel.
Ive posted about Beatallica before, but I never had a chance to check out their songs. If you are a fan of Metallica and enjoy the Beatles, you really should check them out. It is very entertaining….
WoW! I dont know why someone didnt think of this sooner. How cool would it be to plug in a high quality speaker to your existing Cat 5 home network? Imagine the possibilities. Wire up your whole house for networking, then just add speakers where ever you want.
Now if the price would come down…..
Does everything this company touch turn to gold? In typical Blizzard fashion, they nabbed a top concert act to close their upcoming Blizzcon convention. Check out the official Blizzcon site for all the details.
Now if only I had bought the tickets when they first came on sale.
The second round of tickets for the upcoming Blizzard Convention went on sale yesterday. Check out the official Blizzcon website here for more details. Continue reading Blizzcon Tickets on Sale →
If you are getting a blank page trying to open the Gamers Radio forums, please clear your browser cache. We went through a site refacing this past week and your browser may be confused. We have three confirmed cases of blank pages that a simple clearing the cache fixed all three.

Today, I was out pubbing on an official EA US server. I was having a typical time playing. After about 5 minutes I was TK’d, no biggie it happens. I respawned and it wasn’t a minute later that I was TK’d again. Same person. OK, I’m thinking what a moe. I respawned again in a different location. Minute later I get TK’d again by a different person wearing the same tag. Curiosity kicked in. I squaded up with them thinking, maybe the whole nametag wrong color bug was happening. Now I know where they all are. I spawn next to another squad and all was fine and dandy. That was until we all converged on the same flag that was left. Still on their squad knowing what had happened earlier, I cringed. With good reason if I might add, as soon as the squad I was running with joined the questionable squad they TK’d the whole group. I commenced to TK punish from this point. A few minutes later the round ended and I noticed all the questionable guys on this squad were 1,2,3 and I think 5. How was this? I left the server and found another server where I think I found my niche as an engineer. I also found that you CAN pick up another team’s Mines for .25 of mine were picked up by the opposing team. I seen them pick one up. This made me happy for I must try to do this now.
