Celebrity leave Doghouse

Celebrity has parted ways with Doghouse Records. The Nashville-based quartet released two records via the label, 2003’s Lovesick and 2006’s Mining for Twilight. The band has begun work on their next album:

After last year’s release of Mining for Twilight on Doghouse records, CELEBRITY enters the studio as free agents from labels. Celebrity takes their DIY attitude and again teams up with Producer Mark Nash to work on their 4th studio project. “We’re really excited about these new songs we’re recording. They have a more upbeat feel than our previous recordings, and have a renewed sense of urgency.

The group has also begun posting live videos shot at their recent release shows. The first can be found on their myspace page.
