Saddle Creek has announced that they’ll be releasing the debut record from Washington DC’s Georgie James. The band will tour through the fall, and the debut will be released later this year.
Forge Again Records alongside One Day Savior Records will be releasing Boys Night Out‘s debut EP Broken Bones and Bloody Kisses on vinyl. The release will feature the six originals songs from the EP as well as the original version of “Anatomy of the Journey.” The first pressing is limited to 490 copies on blue/grey marbled vinyl and will feature a silk-screened cover designed by the band’s vocalist Connor Lovat-Fraser. The LP will hit stores later this summer, however, mailorders will begin shipping before the end of the month.
Converge has announced that they are in the planning stages of a new DVD entitled Thousands of Miles Between Us, the follow-up to their previous DVD The Long Road Home, which was released through Deathwish in 2003. The band had this to say about Thousands of Miles Between Us:
This new project will again raise the bar of what should be expected from music DVD releases. As the title suggests, “Thousands Of Miles Between Us” will document the bands travels across the world, showcasing the best live moments from their touring around the globe. Shows from Europe, Japan, and the U.S. will be featured, some sets even in their entirety. All this along with interviews with band members, crew, and friends who have been part of the bands ongoing touring legacy.
Reggae revivalists and frequent Tim Armstrong collaborators, The Aggrolites, have announced tour dates in support of their upcoming album. The record is titled Reggae Hit L.A. and is due out June 05, 2007.
The Rocket Summer has posted a new song on his website and MySpace. The new track, “Break it Out,” will be featured on the July 17 release Do You Feel.
Volcom artists Totimoshi have posted a new video online. The song “Dance of Snakes” comes from the group’s last output, Ladrón. The band recently inked a two record deal with Volcom, and are working on their label debut.
Less Than Jake has announced a special hometown performance to benefit a friend whose daughter is undergoing chemotherapy. The event will take place June 8th, 2007 at the Common Grounds in Gainesville, Florida.
