Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger was was allegedly involved in a fight outside a nightclub in Vancouver, Canada on Friday, May 4th after taking offence to something a heckler was saying. Kroeger’s publicist has refused to comment on the matter. According to witnesses the rocker punched a man in the face after he harassed him, and poked fun at his band.

Kroeger (whose real last name is Turton) and a friend reportedly were engaged in an altercation with police at a strip club last month, but no charges were laid.

The musician was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.8 last July following an investigation stemming from a June 22, 2006 incident in Surrey, B.C. where he was pulled over by police for allegedly speeding and driving erratically. He’s still awaiting trial on that matter.
