Acoustic punk act The Revisions have posted information about two upcoming releases along with a new song. titled “No Wars” on their website. In the next month the band will be releasing a three-song EP, Green Noise. In August the band will be releasing a new LP called Revised Observations on Dirtnap Records in the US and on Wasted Sound Records in Europe.

Circle Takes The Square have announced a short tour set to kick off in August. The band most recently contributed material to UK-based post-rock act 65daysofstatic, as well as reissuing their 2003 debut, Circle Takes The Square.

Their last studio full length was 2004’s As The Roots Undo.

GoodCore Records has provided some updates as to their recent activity. First, they will be putting out the vinyl release of the Appleseed Cast’s debut album for Deep Elm Records, The End of the Ring Wars. The limited edition, double color LP will be available July 31, 2007.

In other news, the label announced the signing of Lorain, OH’s NSDWHOA. The band, who describe themselves as a psychedelic grind band, self-released a five-song EP, and are working on a debut full-length for a late 2007/early 2008 release. The band, along with all current bands on the GoodCore roster and a few friends GoodCore has picked-up along the way, will appear on the label’s upcoming first compilation/sampler: Friends and Family, Volume 1.

July 17, 2007 finally marks the official release date for the upcoming full length effort from Boston punk rocker’s, Far From Finished. To celebrate the release of “Living In The Fallout”, Far From Finished, Think Fast! Records, Lucky 13 Apparel, and PunkNews.org have teamed up for a contest giveaway that runs from now until the street date. A grand prize winner will receive a prize package valued at $128 including the brand new disc, a poster, a skate deck, and clothing items from the band, Think Fast! and Lucky 13.
