Akimbo – “Huge Muscles” at Bitter Press
The newly launched Bitter Press has gotten their sticky little hands on a new track from Akimbo‘s upcoming release Navigating The Bronze due out August 21, 2007. It is the first of two albums that the band recorded in the studio as follow-ups to Forging Steel and Laying Stone which was released in 2006.

Me First and the GImme Gimmes announce the Square Dance 7″ Series
Fat Wreck Chords has announced the Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Square Dance Series, a set of 5 limited edition 7″ records to be released in the coming months. The square shaped vinyl will be 1,000 each and will feature a track from their recent Love Their Country full length plus an unreleased b-side. The first in the series will feature Dolly Parton covers, including the album cut “Jolene” and the unreleased “I Will Always Love You.”
The releases will only be available via Fat Wreck Chords.
