Punknews.org Exclusive: The Falcon – “The La-Z-Boy 500”, (and possible tour)

The FalconThe Falcon, the side-project featuring Brendan Kelly and Neil Hennessy of the Lawrence Arms and Dan Adriano from Alkaline Trio, have allowed us to bring you the exclusive premiere of the band’s new (and only) music video. The video is for the song “The La-Z-Boy 500”, which comes from the band’s debut LP, Unicornography, released last year on Red Scare Industries. The project was directed by the group’s frontman, Brendan Kelly.

Additionally, we’ve received word that the band is working on scheduling a brief east coast tour this fall. Specific dates and cities have yet to be confirmed. We’ll bring you that information as soon as it becomes available. The Falcon rarely performs live, with only a few shows including a warehouse show and last year’s Red Scare Fest.

A Perfect Murder (2000-2007)

Victory Records’ A Perfect Murder has decided to call it quits. The band has this to say on their website:

A Perfect Murder is officially breaking up. There are a lot of things that could be discussed about but we don’t wanna go that way. We’d like to think about all the good things music has bring to us over the last 7 years. We’ve met a lot of people, made a lot friends, traveled to places that we thought we would never go.

During their seven years as a band, A Perfect Murder released one demo, two EP’s and four LP’s, including their June 2007 release War of Aggression.
