We Are The Ordinary, Wreck of Nerves, Zach Walks Away

Southern California five piece We Are The Ordinary plans to release their debut EP on September 9th of this year. A winter tour will follow. You can preview the band’s music via MySpace.

Minot, North Dakota “deathgrind” (is that a genre?) band Wreck Of Nerves has posted new demo tracks online. You can check them out via MySpace. The band is working on songs for their debut release on their own Severed Head Records.

Waterloo, IL based three piece Zach Walks Away have posted music and the track listing for their upcoming album The Quietus over at MySpace. You can check out three songs from the release there.

Split Fifty plans new full length, drummer wins Warped tour solo competition

Split Fifty have wrapped up work on their upcoming full length for Masquerade Recordings. The record is titled Swing From Her Fingernails and is due out October 09, 2007.

In related news, the band’s drummer, Mike Luchetti was recently crowned the Winner of the Warped Tour/Fuse Drum Battle hosted by Lp of Yellow Card. After competing with close to 50 drummers from the tour, Mike took the golf with a five minute drum solo that can be seen here.

Hell On Heels to release "Dogs, Records & Wine" this October

Les Hell On Heels have announced their next full length will be released later this year. The record is titled Dogs, Records & Wine and is due out October 09, 2007. It is the follow-up to Les Hell On Heels which was released in 2004.

The band is promising more blending of “diverse influences such as the Damned, the Lunachicks, The Animals and the Brood with a 60’s girl group sound. ” The record was produced and engineered in Seattle by Jack Endino (Nirvana, Mudhoney)

Mises à jour de les Sainte Catherines

The Sainte Catherines have posted an update on some of their plans for the coming year:

We have a couple of shows lined up around Montreal. we should have the dates posted soon.

For now we will be taking a break to start writing the new record and while we’re at it, we’re gonna write a brand new Yesterday’s Ring record as well, because that’s just how we roll. If you wanna see us live the next three shows will be your last chance till the new record which should see the light in 2008 on el Fat Wreck Chords.

The band released Dancing for Decadence in 2006.

Killing California: “Dagger Practice” & “Goin’ South”

Orange County’s Killing California has posted two songs from their debut for Basement Records. The record is titled Goin’ South and is due out September 18, 2007.

Coheed & Cambria post track listing

Coheed and Cambria continue to trickle out new information about their highly anticipated new full length. The record is titled Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Vol. 2: No World For Tomorrow and is due out October 23, 2007. It is the follow-up to Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Vol. 1: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness which was released in 2005 and had a slightly longer title.
