Our run of great interviews continues this week as we present a conversation with Mike Park, who of course runs Asian Man Records. While managing to keep themselves in the news on a consistent basis, Asian Man has recently been causing a great deal of excitement as they prepare to re-release Alkaline Trio‘s beloved album Goddamnit. Although it’s not out until February, orders are being taken on the records now and are likely to be nearly gone by the street date.

Tours: Thrice / Say Anything / Attack In Black (Canada)

Thrice, Say Anything and Attack in Black will be touring through Canada early next year.

All three bands have new material in 2007, including Thrice’s “double EP,” The Alchemy Index: Volumes I & II: Fire & Water, Say Anything’s double album, In Defense of the Genre and Attack in Black’s normal one Marriage.

Walls of Jericho working on next album

Walls of Jericho are wrapping up work on their next album, which is slated for a March 2008 release via Trustkill. The album was produced by Cory Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) and will feature his vocals on several songs. “I’ve never produced anything like this before, so I’m going a little crazy. I can’t wait,” Taylor said.

The release will come with a DVD featuring live footage of the band.

Fearless plans Punk Goes Crunk

Fearless Records has announced plans for the seventh in their Punk Goes… series. This time, the label is tackling rap and hip hop. The album will include some of the material which was set to appear on the announced and cancelled hip hop compilation to be curated by Immortal Records.

Due in April 2008, the list will include Say Anything, Kenny from The Starting Line, New Found Glory, The Maine, Hot Rod Circut, My American Heart, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. This album will also include tracks from All Time Low, The Devil Wears Prada, Set Your Goals, and other artists who will be announced soon.
