A Static Lullaby have posted the latest video from their 2006 album, A Static Lullaby. They explained:

This video is for one of our favorite tracks from the last record. We filmed it with an amazing director named Ryan Todd up in Sacramento, CA and spent two days running around being chased by this crazy masked dude. Hopefully you guys like it. We’ve been busy writing for our upcoming new record.

We’ll be recording with longtime friend and producer Steve Evetts in March/April so we’ll have a new record in stores this summer. You can expect a new loud and aggressive record that really showcases what A Static Lullaby friends and fans have grown to love about our band plus some new surprises up our sleeves.

Deathwish hardcore act Killing the Dream have wrapped up work on the follow up to 2005’s In Place, Apart:

Our new record is officially done and we are getting the final mixes back today. It still needs to be mastered after that, and the artwork is the process of being done as well, but things are coming together and we should be able to announce some sort of release date soon, as well as have an audio player up with a few new songs. We are super excited about it and can’t wait to get it out.

Chris Chase of Last of the Believers and formerly of Rise Against has posted a new acoustic version of the track, “Throwing Matches” from the album Paper Ships Under a Burning Bridge.

He explained:

A few months back, I hit Blasting Room Studios in Fort Collins, CO and decided to record an acoustic version of Last of the Believers “Throwing Matches.” I switched it up a bit, added a few harmonies, and even some piano. This version will be available on iTunes next week, and is on the new Last of the Believers cd that came out yesterday

Along with Chasse, the band includes Brett Rasmussen of Ignite, drummer Phillip Lee, and Nik Pitcitello and Steve Jennings formerly of Spark of Life.
