MxPx cancel upcoming tour with Yellowcard

MxPx have dropped off their scheduled supporting run with Yellowcard. The band explained:

We’re sorry report that due to scheduling conflicts we’ve had to pull off of the US tour with Yellowcard. We will definitely be in Australia as planned and we WILL be making a US tour announcement ASAP, so watch our sites! The shows in Japan were awesome as was our first ever visit to Indonesia.

The long-running punk band released Secret Weapon last year.

From Autumn To Ashes Drummer breaks foot

From Autumn To Ashes drummer, Jeff Gretz, has broken two bones in his foot on the band’s UK tour and has been sent home with a 6-8 week recovery time. Frontman (and former drummer) Francis Mark will be taking over drumming duties for two shows before Graham Griffith of the Glasgow band Flood Of Red takes the spot for the remainder of the tour.

The band is touring in support of their 2007 album, Holding a Wolf by the Ears.
