In preparation for the upcoming release of their live DVD/CD, titled UPROAR: Live & Loud!, Inquisition have announced a special pre-sale event taking place Saturday, February 23 in Richmond, VA. The release is scheduled to hit the streets March 18 via No Idea Records, but will be available at Plan 9 Records on February 23, with a special big-screen viewing to be held down the street from Plan 9 at the historic Byrd Theater. A free ticket to the showing at the Byrd will given with each purchase of the DVD/CD set at Plan 9, which will sell for $11.99. Members of the band will also be on hand for the pre-sale and big-screen showing.

This March, PBS stations across the US will premier a Clash documentary titled The Clash Live: Revolution Rock. The show will chronicle the iconic band’s live performances from across their career. Footage includes studio clips from 1979, concerts from London’s The Music Machine in `78 and the Lyceum in `79 and `80 and a stadium performance at Shea in New York in 1982. Air times will be posted to theclashonline.com

A DVD release of the film will hit on April 15th. It will include rare footage of the band’s performance on The Tom Snyder Show and on ABC’s Fridays.

Russian Circles have detailed their forthcoming release Sleep Station. The album, produced by Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Isis), will hit stores May 6 via Suicide Squeeze Records.

The band heads out on tour later this month with Dalek and Young Widows.
