Olehole (The Ghost, Burial Year, Takaru, Quest For Quintanaroo) talk new album, post new music

Olehole, which includes members of the Ghost, Burial Year, Takaru and Quest For Quintanaroo have announced plans to release their debut full length. The album, titled Holemole, will be released this summer on vinyl and CD format by Underground Communique in the U.S. Go Kart will follow with a fall release in Europe and Japan. The band is planning a partial U.S. tour for the fall, a trek that will include a include a performance at The Fest in Gainesville, followed shortly thereafter by a full European tour

These Green Eyes, Fires at Night, Olivia AD, Hollerado

New Haven, CT’s These Green Eyes have posted a new song called “Sucker Punch” on their MySpace page. You can also listen to a brevy of their back catalog while you’re there.

Minneapolis, MN based Fires at Night have posted two songs from their upcoming EP, Right Back Where We Started. The album was produced by Matt Broadbent (Somerset), and is due for a summer 2008 release.

Oslo, Norway’s Olivia A.D. have posted a cover of The Draft‘s “Lo Zee Rose” to their MySpace page. They have plenty of original material available for listening as well.

Manotick, Montreal’s Hollerado have just released a video of their new song “Americanarama” featuring Dave Foley from Kids In the Hall, probably because he’s Canadian too. The song is available on the band’s MySpace page.

Minus The Bear’s “They Make Beer Commercials Like This” to get deluxe treatment

Minus The Bear Minus The Bear‘s 2004 EP, They Make Beer Commercials Like This has been slated for a remastered, expanded reissue. The EP, originally released on Arena Rock will feature the original six songs remastered plus the bonus track, “Houston, We Have Uh-Oh.” Along with a CD reissue, the label will be making the record available on vinyl with a digital code for downloading the songs.

The EP is due out June 03, 2008.

Details for Warped Tour 2008 compilation

The latest in the series of Warped Tour compilations has been announced. The record is titled Warped Tour 2008 and is due out June 03, 2008. It features 50 songs from Against Me!, Story of the Year, Flogging Molly, Beat Union, The Matches, Allison, Charlotte Sometimes, The Fabulous Rudies, Four Year Strong, Street Dogs, The Aggrolites and many others.

Trever Keith (Face to Face) talks about solo project, the reunion

KROQ has posted the video of a recent interview with withFace To Face frontman Trever Keith. He was interviewed last month by Bamboozle, where his band shared the stage for the first time since their original break up in 2003. In that interview, Keith talks about his decision to reunite with his primary band, post-Face to Face projects, their farwell shows from 2004, his new solo album and whether Face to Face will reunite fulltime. He also hinted the possibility of writing and recording new material for what would be their first album since 2002’s How To Ruin Everything.
