Reggie and The Full Effect have posted another new song from their upcoming full length. The record is titled Last Stop: Crappy Town. and is due out June 17, 2008.
Dine Alone Records has announced a number of limited 7″ records to be released on June 9. Pre-orders are now being taken for City and Colour‘s Sleeping Sickness, which includes the title-track as well as its demo version on the b-side. It’s limited to 1,000 copies on black vinyl.
Also being released that day is a self-titled 7″ from Black Lungs (featuring members of Alexisonfire) limited to 300 and a self-titled 7″ from Sleepercar. Both are limited to 300 copies and feature two previously unreleased songs.
The Briggs, who we last heard on 2006’s, Back to Higher Ground, are back and ready to release Come All You Madmen in June on Side One Dummy. They’ve played some big shows in the last couple of years and will be hitting the road on this year’s Warped Tour. Guitarist Jason LaRocca recently took some time to talk to Punknews interviewer Michael Dauphin about what’s they band has been up to, and what they’re about to get up to.

No Idea has announced plans to reissue Hot Water Music‘s landmark sophomore full length, Forever and Counting this month. The record was originally released on Doghouse and has been out-of-print on vinyl for at least five years.
The Copyrights have confirmed the bulk of the dates for their upcoming summer tour with Kepi Ghoulie and The Sweethearts. The bill was originally to feature Italy’s The Retarded but the band has been forced to drop off.
Travis Barker has posted the latest live drum remix in a series which includes Flo Rida, Rihanna and Soulja Boy. In this remix, the former Blink-182 drummer added live drumming and guitars to Busta Rhymes’ “Don’t Touch Me.”
Along with the original album, the album will include five bonus tracks, “Full Sesh”, “You Must Be Willing”, “Gypsy Panther”, “So Much More”, “and “Untitled.” The disc will feature a 24-page booklet including some of the art developed by Steak Mtn.
Pioneering blues and rock’n’roll musician Bo Diddley has passed away due to heart failure. Diddley was born Ellas Bates McDaniel in McComb, Mississippi. He was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in January 1987 and proved influential particularly for his role in bridging the gap between blues and rock and roll.
His music had been covered by a diverse range of artists including Elvis Presley, The Doors, The Stooges, The Clash, Johnny Thunders, The Rolliing Stones and The Jesus and Mary Chain. Both the New York Dolls and The Lurkers recorded their own version of his song “Pills”, and Diddley was the opening act on The Clash’s first U.S. tour.
Angels and Airwaves have launched a trailer for their upcoming DVD documentary. It is titled Start the Machine [DVD] and is due out June 17, 2008. It is the follow-up to I-Empire which was released in 2007.
The second part of the interview with the controversial John Joseph of the Cro-Mags looks into John’s take on the hijacking of the Hare Krishna movement by false “gurus” and his involvement with the IRM movement and his vegetarian lifestyle.
The band also confirmed plans to release a new digital and CD EP this summer. The five-track EP is due out June 16th via Sargent House. A track from the album is available on their myspace page.
