Let Me Run have released a free MP3 from their upcoming debut full length. The record is titled Meet Me At The Bottom and is due out January 20, 2009. The album is being released by XOXO Records and has drawn comparisons to bands like Hot Water Music, Gaslight Anthem and Jawbreaker.

The Honorary Title Releases “The City on Christmas” digital EP
As a follow-up to the band’s 2007 release, Scream & Light Up the Sky, The Honorary Title have recorded a 4-song Christmas EP in just two days in the back of an elementary school. Dan Myers, a touring member of Adam Greene and Guster, produced the project as well as contributing by playing horns on the EP.
The opening track, “City on Christmas” is currently streaming on their myspace page. The EP is available at all digital retailers, including iTunes.

Circle Jerks cancel North and South American dates due to “lingering health problems”
Circle Jerks have cancelled their recently announced tour of South America in March of 2009. The band had this to say:
Hello, South American friends, we regret to inform you that due to Keith’s lingering health problems, our November shows have been postponed until sometime early next year. Yeah, we’re as bummed as you are, but we’ll let you know when the rescheduled shows will be as soon as they’re firmed up.
The band’s last studio album, Oddities, Abnormalities, and Curiosities, was released more than a decade ago. Though the band released a new song last year, guitarist Greg Hetson mentioned this past June that a new album from the long-running band may not happen in the near future.
