France’s Admiral’s Arms have posted a new demo from their forthcoming debut. The track is called ‘The Thirteen Out Of Tune Trumpets’ and will appear on Stories Are Told, Chapters Unfold due to hit the shelves this Fall.

Brooklyn’s Queens, NY’s Bridge and Tunnel are currently in Europe, touring it up. Drummer Pat Schram sent us this update on their status.
The band released their critically lauded East/West in 2008 and is doing a European release of a 7″ this year via Yo-Yo Records. After they get back, they’ll head out with Propagandhi (dates) and roll through Canada with Yesterday’s Ring (dates).
Comeback Kid are out on tour in Europe and have sent us in some notes from the road. The band will also appear at Groezrock.
They released Broadcasting… in 2007 and Through The Noise last October.

Fresh Bridge Nine Records signing, Soul Control have posted a free download of their recent singles series. Each song appeared on a one song / one sided 7″ on a different label. The cover art for each of the four records can be combined to form a larger image. The labels involved are Triple B Records, Teenage Disco Bloodbath Records, Hex Records and Dead But Dreaming Records.

Chicago’s celtic/punk The Tossers have released the music video for “Katie at the Races,” from their latest release, On a Fine Spring Evening. The video was shot together with their previous video, “Whiskey Makes Me Crazy.”
The Vans Warped Tour is now streaming the entire Come and Get It album from Westbound Train. The album is due out April 21, 2009.

El Nuevo Grupo De Omar Rodriguez Lopez, the side project from Omar Rodriguez Lopez have released a new song from their forthcoming debut. The record is titled Cryptomnesia II and is due out May 5, 2009. Along with the Mars Volta guitarist, the band features frequent collaborator (and Mars Volta bandmate) Cedric Bixler Zavala, Zach Hill of Hella, Jonathan Hischke and Juan Alderete de la Pena.

No Friends, which features members of New Mexican Disaster Squad and Tony Foresta, vocalist of Municipal Waste have announced their debut. The band promises 80’s style hardcore in the vein of Dag Nasty, Descendents, and Gorilla Biscuits..
The band just wrapped up recording their self-titled album at Crescendo Sound Studios and is shooting for a July release date on {{No Idea Records}}.

HORSE the Band have announced a tour of Europe and the UK set to kick off in May. The band will be bringing along a new 7-inch, Shapeshift which will feature Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu on the A-side and a remix by Skrillex on the flip side.
The song is the first from the band’s forthcoming debut for Vagrant Records, Desperate Living, which is due out in the summer.
