Russian Circles have announced a few more tour dates following their appearance at Bonnaroo, all of which will feature support from Coliseum. The band is currently recording a new full-length at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, with Brandon Curtis of Secret Machines producing. The band last released Station in 2008.

A Wilhelm Scream (Europe)
A Wilhelm Scream have booked a European run this summer and are planning shows around their upcoming visits to the Readings and Leeds festivals in August.
Smalltown: “Implosion”

Poison the Well / Madball / Bane / Vision of Disorder / Terror / Crime in Stereo / Trapped Under Ice
A number of hardcore acts have been confirmed for the forthcoming 10 For $10 summer tour. As the name implies, each stop will feature ten bands and ticket prices are fixed at $10.00. The event will be headlined by Poison The Well and Madball, Bane and Vision of Disorder on various dates.
Other support acts include Terror, Death Before Dishonor, War of Ages, Crime In Stereo, Trapped Under Ice, The Mongoloids, The Ghost Inside, This Is Hell and Vision.
Poison The Well’s guitarist, Ryan Primack, says:
This tour is really exciting to us as it shows some massive diversity that occurs in the hardcore scene. I think it’s really amazing that Tim put this group of bands together. Some of bands on this tour have really shaped the good things that are happening in hardcore right now. Without some of the bands on this tour I doubt we would even be a band. We’re honored and privileged to be sharing the stage with them.

New Reel Big Fish DVD in the works
Reel Big Fish have a new live DVD in the works for a late July release. The set captures a live show filmed at the Grov in Orange County. Rock Ridge Music has indicated that the disc will feature the band performing 20 songs, along with bonus material. A title and other details are forthcoming.
The band is currently supporting their covers record Fame, Fortune and Fornication.

Strike Anywhere to record next week
Strike Anywhere have announced plans to hit the studio next week. The band is headed to Salad Days studio with producer Brian Mcternan (Hot Water Music, Texas is the Reason, Bane) to record the follow up to 2006’s Dead FM.
The record is due out via a label to be announced very soon.

Ira Robbins, Mickey Leigh, Dave Frey to host Remembering Joey Ramone chat at 3pm today
CBGB will be hosting a chat session with Joey Ramone’s brother, Mickey Leigh, Dave Frey and Ira Robbins. The participants will be sharing an hour of stories, anecdotes, and reflection on the eve of Joey Ramone’s birthday, May 19th.

Tomorrow, Joey’s birthday celebration will take place at the Fillmore in New York’s Irving Plaza. The event, which would have been the late Ramones’ frontman’s 58th birthday, will preview new unreleased Joey Ramone solo recordings for guests. Rough mixes of the tracks, slated for a posthumous album release later this year, are being worked on by a number of producers, including long time Ramones collaborator Ed Stasium.

Big D and The Kids Table detail upcoming full-length, post new songs
Big D and the Kids Table have revealed the title, track listing and release date for their sixth full-length. Fluent In Stroll will be released on July 7, 2009 via Side One Dummy. The record was produced by Joe Gittleman (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and miixed by Paul Q Kolderie (Radiohead, Dinosaur Jr., Uncle Tupelo). Side One Dummy has posted two songs from the record. You can check out “Doped Up Dollies On A One Way Ticket To Blood” and “Fluent In Stroll” here. The band last released Strictly Rude in 2007.

The Brains: “Gone”
Montreal psychobilly act the Brains have unveiled their new video for the song “Gone.” You can check it out below. The track’s from the band’s self-titled record, released this past April via Stomp Records.
The band is on the road now in Canada, with dates scheduled in the US this June with the Creepshow. The band will also take part in two upcoming music festivals in St. Catharines, Ontario, both the S.C.E.N.E. Fest in late June and the Hot Rod Hootenanny in early July.

Blink 182 performing on The Tonight Show Monday and Tuesday
In even more Blink 182 reunion news, bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus has announced via his twitter account that the band will be performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on both Monday and Tuesday this week.
The band also recently announced tour dates with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, launched a teaser video for said tour, began work on a new album, and gave cryptic details about a recent ‘video’ shoot.

Time Again have posted a new song from their upcoming collection of re-imagined 1960s folk songs, (naked). The original version of “Broken Bodies” appeared on the band’s 2006 full-length, The Stories are True.
