Every Time I Die name Epitaph debut

Every Time I Die have posted an update on their forthcoming debut for Epitaph Records. The record is titled New Junk Aesthetic. Guitarist Jordan Buckley posted this:

There’s a pretty good chance that you’ll be finding a pile of brand new original drawings of mine all over New Junk Aesthetic, the fifth full length cd from Every Time I Die, and the first on Epitaph Records. makes sense, right?

i don’t think i could be more excited. over the past month i have been making some lyrically influenced illustrations to coexist with the music, and it’s going better than i could have planned. the big wigs at Epitaph saw my doodles and confirmed that we are onto something big here, from all angles. this also explains my lack of updates; it’s not that I haven’t been drawing, it’s just that the drawings are top fucking secret! so since i won’t be able to give you anything new to look at for a while, i am forced to make my updates word based, located specifically at twitter.com/jordanetid.

The band released The Big Dirty in 2007.

T-mobile threw a big party at the Paramount lot here in Los Angeles to launch their new Sidekick, and they asked us to play. the whole thing was a secret. Travis and DJ-AM were already scheduled to perform, and as a surprise ending, Blink-182 came out at the very end and played a few songs.

Moving Mountains: ‘Foreword’ test pressing

Moving MountainsMoving Mountains has been releasing their newest endeavor, Foreword, in all the standard formats. It hit the digital airwaves late last year, compact discs shortly thereafter, and this past week was finally issued on audiophiles’ favorite: pristine wax.

Since it’s so fantastic, we’re celebrating the release by giving away a rare test pressing to one lucky winner, as well as a CD copy to play in the car and a poster for your wall.

Also, if you’re around, the band plays their vinyl release show tomorrow in Brooklyn with DeSoto Jones, Trophy Scars and Transit.
